What is Codz?
Codz is a native Mac workspace for coding agents. Run conversations, switch agents, browse files, preview your project and review changes together. The menu bar and desktop widgets keep the work in view when you leave the workspace.
Which agents can I use?
Codz runs Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent and OpenCode with their own accounts. You can also use Codz’s agent with models from OpenRouter or DeepSeek. Keep your preferred models in one loadout and switch as the task changes.
Can I use the subscriptions I already have?
Yes. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode keep their own logins and plan limits. Codz does not replace your provider subscription. Models used through OpenRouter or DeepSeek are billed by those providers.
Does my code stay on my Mac?
Local projects and their files stay on your Mac. Your chosen agent provider receives the context it needs to do the work. Codz sync and Remote are opt-in; Remote’s relay carries encrypted data.
Can I check on my agents from my phone?
Yes. Codz Remote for iPhone and iPad connects to your Mac so you can follow conversations and respond to approvals away from your desk. Remote is included with Codz Pro.
Is Codz free?
Running local agents on your Mac is free. Pro adds usage analytics, the issue tracker, sync and Remote. Your agent providers’ subscriptions and API charges are separate. Compare plans.
