Codz is free on your Mac, with no account. Pro adds what your agents cost, an issue tracker, Codz Remote and synced history. Team gives every member of an organization Pro, and the organization one view of what its members sync.

Free

Free is everything you need to run agents on your Mac:

Every agent Codz supports, run and steered from one native window.
Files, diffs, Git, terminals and approvals beside the conversation.
Working agents in the menu bar and in the Active Agents widget.
Claude, Codex and Cursor plan limits as they fill, in the app, the menu bar and the Plan Limits widget.
The codz command-line tool, except codz usage.

Free needs no account, and your usage never leaves your Mac. Data & privacy lists the few requests the app does make.

Pro

Pro is $20 per month. It adds:

Usage analytics. Tokens and cost by day, provider and model: the Usage, Models and Profile pages, the usage and cost panels on Overview, the day’s figures in the menu bar, the Tokens Today widget and codz usage. See Usage analytics.
An issue tracker for each project, shared by you and your agents: they can file, pick up and close issues. See Issues.
Codz Remote, to steer approved workspaces from iPhone and iPad. See Codz Remote.
Synced usage history, kept in your account after your agents’ local logs are rotated away. See Sync & profile.
A public usage profile, if you want one.

Pro belongs to your Codz account, so a Mac unlocks it once it is signed in to that account.

Team

Team is $40 per seat per month, for up to 100 seats. Every member gets everything in Pro, and the organization gets:

An organization page on codz.com with its members and the usage they sync to it.
Owner, admin and member roles, and invitations you share as a link.
Seats that an owner or admin buys, adds and removes in place.

What Free shows instead

On Free, a Pro feature stays where it would be and says it is part of Codz Pro. The pages and the Overview card also carry the way in: Sign in while the Mac is signed out, Upgrade to Pro once it is signed in.

Without Pro, codz status leaves the usage section out and says why, and your agents aren’t given the issue tracker’s tools.

Upgrade to Pro

On your Mac, open Settings ▸ Account and sign in. Codz account walks through it.
Click Upgrade to Pro. It opens your dashboard’s Settings on codz.com in your browser.
Click Upgrade to Pro there and pay in Stripe Checkout.
Back on your Mac, open Settings ▸ Account again. The plan now reads Codz Pro, and the Pro pages unlock.

The codz command follows the plan the app last saw, so open Codz once after upgrading before you run codz usage.

You can also buy Codz Pro inside Codz Remote on iPhone, where Apple bills it. Billing covers both, and how to cancel. To start a team, click Upgrade to Team on Billing & Invoices; if you already pay for Pro there, it switches that subscription to the team.

Questions

Does Free need an account?

No. Codz runs and watches your agents without one. You need an account for Pro and Team, synced history, Codz Remote and a public profile.

Do I need API keys?

Not for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenCode: Codz drives their command-line tools with the logins you already have, so work counts against the plans you already pay for. OpenRouter and DeepSeek use a key you add in Settings ▸ Models & providers.

What happens when Pro ends?

The Pro pages show their unlock cards again, usage sync stops, and your public profile and global stats sharing are switched off. Everything on your Mac stays, and the usage you already synced stays in your account.

What currency are prices in?

US dollars, excluding any taxes that apply where you are. Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel.
